The tumble chiller is an integral part of the DCN Cook-Chill system. After cooking the product and putting it into flexible plastic casings, the bagged product is then conveyed into the rotary tumble chiller. This machine reduces the temperature of cooked food to below 4° celsius in approximately 60-90 minutes, depending on viscosity.
These tumble chillers come with stainless steel construction to ensure the equipment lasts for years. Stainless steel is also very hygienic and easy to clean between uses, so all of the products you put through the system will be of the highest quality possible.
The HMI screen with temperature display leaves no room for human error. It works to ensure consistency from batch to batch. There is also a cleaning cycle you can run to keep the inside of the tumble chiller sanitised and ready to go.
We have different sizes of tumble chillers available and they’re all designed to work well with the pump fill station.
